Browser-based live coding performance

Webscape Navigation is a browser-based live coding performance that embarks on a transdimensional journey through the web.

Using a gamepad as a conduit, the performers navigate a browser-based 3D environment that both visually and conceptually represents the web. This act of navigation becomes the central focus of the artwork, acting as a poetic representation of internet navigation, while simultaneously exposing its inner workings.

HTML elements, UI components, and a live console are woven into the aesthetic, drawing attention to the computational layers beneath the experience. This live coding-inspired transparency shifts the audience's perception, encouraging them to engage with the underlying processes, transforming what might typically be seen as debug tools into an intrinsic part of the artwork. This focus, however, doesn't aim to showcase technical prowess; instead, it seeks to redefine the relationship between performance, medium, and audience.
